Tony, Director of Photography
Tony’s love of beautiful images started on his twelfth birthday when his parents gave him a Charlie-the-Tuna camera. Ever since, he’s had a love affair with all things visual. Originally from Mexico, Tony received a degree in Communications from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and moved to the US shortly after graduating. His wealth of experience since then includes shooting with camera cars, Tyler helicopter mounts, riding cranes, Glidecam, Easy Rig, and process trailers for driving sequences, among other fun toys.
Fun fact: Tony shot a feature-length movie, Wraith, with a DGA Hollywood director.
Julie, Writer/Producer
Julie jotted down her first story, Charlotte the Horse, at age seven, and she’s been scribbling ever since. Julie has a B.A. in English from Oberlin College and a master’s degree from Northwestern University in broadcast journalism. She has worked as a TV reporter, freelance writer, and even a radio dee-jay. Julie uses her storytelling skills in every video script she writes. She also enjoys working on pre-production, whether it’s hiring talent and crews or finding just the right props or the perfect location.
Fun fact: Julie is a children’s author, with two middle-grade novels published by Disney Hyperion.
